How do I get a credit card company to stop calling me about accepting credit card theft protection?

I have told the Chase Manhattan credit card company that I;m not interested on more than one call. The calls stopped for a month or so after I enrolled in the do not call registry but have started back up everyday more than once a day!

If you have done business with a company within the past 18 months, they can still call you even if you are on the Do Not Call list.
When you get a call from Chase, ask them to remove your from their list. If that doesn’t work, call the credit card customer service number and threaten to cancel your account if they don’t stop calling you every day.
Next time they call tell them that you will have to get their name & home # to call them back at their home!! Then make it a point to tell them that you are on the do not call list & that means do not call.
The next time they call you, ask the person’s name and tell them that you want to be removed permanently from their calling list and that if you receive one more phone call you will take your business else where and report them to the police for harassment. This has worked for me a few times. And keep the persons name in case you have to make a report. And take note of the date.
Maybe you should just get credit card theft protection.
If you have a business relation with them, being on the do not call list will not help.
To have Chase to stop calling you. Simply decline the protection. When you decline the protection your account automatically goes back into the call list. Sometimes representatives might note the acct incorrectly. By saying cust did not answer; cust states he will call back. That does not neccesarily mean the cust declined. So when the next rep reviews your acct. They will go forward according to the notes on the account. Your best bet is to call Chase customer service and advise them that you do not want theft protection. And to note your account accordingly.
FYI:
Threatening to close out your account would only result in a negotiation for a lower interest rate. THATS IT
You would be better off having a representative verify notes on the account. Or change the number to an unknown number.
